Self Evaluation: Line PhotographyIn my photographs, I applied depth of field, proportion, dominance and a lot of movement. I tried a lot of straight forward shots and some from higher and lower angles but most of my final shots were straight forward.
As a a result, I turned out happy with three of my pictures because they are really vibrant and move the viewer’s eyes threw the photo, one of my pictures looks as if the focal point might have been undecided. The way I planned to execute the shots from a side angle so the foreground connects to the background creating a trail for the eye to follow. The structure of the photo I guess would be a personal body of work because all my photos were balanced between empty and heavy sides divided around the middle, unlike some of my fellow classmates. |

Commercial Photography
Commercial Photography is a style of photography in which pictures are taken to use for commercial purposes: selling products, promoting businesses, food for menus, fashion and portraits. Each type consists of it own techniques and formats along with subliminal messages.
Selling Products: use product lines or individual products in their photos and focus on the design of the product or how it is used while revealing its details and the feeling of its use and focuses on the status and attraction. The main purpose is to make the product appealing.
Promoting Businesses: uses techniques to promote themselves or work aspects. The photo shots are often taken in a studio or isolated environment, and industrial photography, which often takes place on the site or factory floor. A common method of promotion is by using architectural and building photography, where the business can be seen as a product.
For Menus: Photographs of food to promote menus or for use in culinary sections of magazines and can give the mood and feel of a venue. Still-life shots and Nature shots are the type of techniques commonly used to do food photography. Foods cooked in a restaurant should be taken inside the restaurant, because of this the photographer should carry portable lighting and backgrounds for the photographs.
